B.Ed is mandatory for most school teaching posts. The college must be recognised by NCTE and affiliated to a university — in this region typically University of Allahabad / PRSU. Admissions run through UP B.Ed JEE. Verify NCTE recognition on its website; unrecognised B.Ed degrees are rejected in recruitment.
For primary teaching, D.El.Ed is the route, offered by government DIETs and private colleges. Government DIET seats fill first — nominal fees and recruitment boards know them well.
A B.Ed alone does not give a job: government school posts need UP-TET (or CTET for central schools) plus the state recruitment process; private schools recruit directly with the same qualifications. Ask any college how many recent students cleared UP-TET — that is the outcome that matters.
